Valor Fitness is proud to again be hosting the Valor Games at our corporate office/headquarters on February 6, 2021! Over the years, we have hosted the Valor Games as a way to bring our local community together, a community which we have been fortunate enough to support in the form of sponsorships, free equipment rentals, and donations to local charities.
With our annual premier cross training event fast approaching, we are incredibly privileged to announce that a portion of the proceeds collected will be donated to the Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch in nearby Pinellas Park, FL!
CEO Michael DeLancey, a veteran who was critically injured during combat in Iraq, founded Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch (WWAR) in 2015 with the intention of bringing veterans together and getting them out and active. DeLancey and his father, Mike, who operates as COO, offer activities for all military veterans and their families “in need of a supportive and healing environment, to give a new sense of hope, resilience, and strength as they move forward in their journey.”

Through a wide range of recreational activities, workshops, and clinics, WWAR strives to show wounded veterans that the things they loved to do prior to their injuries are still possible today. With the goal to build their headquarters at Lurie Park, the non-profit has raised approximately $670,000 with 330 events and has helped change the lives of over 3,000 veterans in the process. WWAR intends to house the Adaptive Sports Program and serve as the resource center for Adaptive Sports, while also planning to build a Memorial Garden as a reflective space to honor the fallen.
WWAR plans to build its headquarters at Lurie Park in the city of Pinellas Park, FL, which will feature a Memorial Garden to honor the fallen.
The work DeLancey and his father have done for the veteran community in the Tampa Bay area is truly remarkable, and as a company that has always shown support for our nations heroes, Valor Fitness is incredibly honored to be able to help support WWAR’s goals to further enhance the lives of true Wounded Warriors.
