Hex Bar with Multiple Grip Options
A Valor Fitness Trap Bar helps you build massive quads, hamstrings, and traps. It allows you to center the weight and reduce strain on spinal flexors. With hex bars, you avoid shin scrapping generally associated with traditional deadlifts.
Features and Benefits:
- ROTATING HANDLE: Rotating handles allow the user to choose between 4 grips of various widths. Handles of 1”, 1.25”, 1.75”, and 2” diameter accommodate multiple users of different strengths and experience.
- RUBBER STOPPERS: Protects gym floors from damage or scratching. Hex bars are not meant to be dropped, and damage may occur if not set down properly.
- UNIQUE DESIGN: Ergonomically positioned handles ensures correct lifting form for safe, balanced lifting. Elevated sleeves raise weight off the ground for easy plate transition.
- BUILDS MUSCLE: Shoulder shrugs, hex bar squats, and deadlifts are primary exercises that add muscle strength to shoulders, back and legs.
- ADDITIONAL: Hex Bar weight of 60 lbs. Perfect for single or multiple users. Max weight load of 500 lbs.

Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
How much does the bar weigh? You indicate shipping weight only.
The OB-HEX bar weighs 60lbs when fully assembled.
-
Can you use this bar with standard 1 inch weight plates?
Thanks for your question! Yes, the sleeves on the Valor Fitness Hex Trap Bar are removable and your 1 inch plates can be used. The bar's 2 inch sleeve can be removed on the end with a hex key (allen key) to have access to the 1 inch bar.
-
What is the difference between the neutral and standard trap bars?
The frames are quite identical, but the main point of difference are the handles. Both have rotating handles, but the positions differ based on your preference. The Neutral Trap Bar is more ergonomically accommodating, whereas the Standard Trap Bar is used more for wider grip positions. Hope that helps differ the two!

How hard is assembly?
The OB-HEX is not a difficult product to assemble. You have the two frames which attaches to one another, and once you have that attached, you can easily attach on the plate arms along with the handles. It shouldn't take no more than 45 minutes.
