I'm looking to have about a 40 lb sandbag (i have 25lb and 35lb kettle bells....so I already have 50lb and 70lb taken care of...just looking to add the 40lbs of bag to the mix). Would I want to have a mix of both sand and this filler? Or is the filler enough? Thanks!
Thanks for your question! We would recommend using a mixture of sand and the rubber crumb. A good ratio that we've used is 40:60, 40% rubber crumbs and 60% sand for the weight. But this can vary depending on your preference. Hope that helps!

If I wanted to make a 75lb sandbag, how much crumb should I buy?
This can be preferrence but we found that a filling a sand bag is around 40/30% rubber crumb and 60/70% sand. The sand gives it the weight while the rubber crumb is more of a filler. It depends on the size of sandbag you are filling but you would want to mix both sand and rubber crumb for a good firm sandbag.
