Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
Can you mount the 3-peg holder on drywall or a stud? If so will it still hold 600 lbs?
We recommend mounting it onto cement walls, in which it will come with the necessary hardware. However, if you are planning to mount it onto drywall or studs, you will need the correct hardware to do so. If secured firmly, it will be able to hold up to 600lbs.
If unsure of how to mount onto drywall or studs, please reach out to your local hardware store for guidance and direction. They will be best suited to assist in terms of whether to use a stringer board, finding the correct size hardware, etc. Hope that helps! -
Does the hole spacing allow direct installation to studs that are spaced 16” apart or do you need to use a stringer board?
You will have to use a stringer board in this case. The holes does not match up with the 16". Please review the photo below. From the outer holes to the inner hole, it is 12" apart. From both inner holes, it is 19" apart. Hope that helps!
