Introducing the Valor Fitness Squat Bar, the ultimate specialty squat bar designed for big lifters and big lifts with a max capacity of 2000 lbs. Constructed with high-quality steel, this barbell can handle heavy weights without compromising on safety and performance. Deep aggressive knurling is designed to maximize grip to the athletes back. Measuring in at 94” the Squat Bar is longer than the standard Olympic bar (86”) with a 56.5” shaft length between the sleeves and a loadable sleeve length of 16.7”. The longer shaft allows athletes to place their hands wider than a traditional barbell reducing strain on the shoulders and wrists while allowing for deeper squats and greater range of motion. 32 MM diameter shaft meaning more surface area for the bar to stick on the athletes back. Knurling through the entire bar shaft with powerlifting marks and center mark along with a tensile strength of 165,000 PSI, this Squat Bar is every powerlifter’s dream.
HEAVY DUTY SQUAT BAR: This squat bar is constructed of high-quality steel for strength and durability during the heaviest of squats. The barbell weighs 23 KG and has 165,000 tensile strength. Heavy duty bushings in each sleeve with a protective rubber ring on the collar to help protect the collars.
AGGRESSIVE KNURLING: Aggressive knurling along the full length of the shaft allows the athlete to feel connected to the barbell. The aggressive knurling takes out the fear of the bar slipping down your back and out of position on a lift.
LONGER SHAFT: Longer 56.5” shaft preventing weight plates from hitting the rack uprights while unracking or racking the barbell. The longer shaft allows lifters to position their hands outside of the rack uprights, a common position for powerlifters. Includes powerlifting marks and center knurl mark.
THICKER SHAFT: 32 MM diameter steel shaft (compared to the 28-29 MM of an Olympic barbell) creating more surface area on the back to allow the bar to maximize grip to the athletes back. The thicker shaft maximizes points of contact on your back, posterior deltoids, and trapezius creating the most secure position and connection possible.
WIDE COLLARS: Each collar measures 2” in length housing a dual brass bushing system that reduces spin which is ideal for strength focused powerlifting.
ETCHED SLEEVES: 16.7” of loadable sleeve length, each with fine grooves ensuring your steel or bumper plates won’t slide during your squat workout.
ADDITIONAL: Recommended max weight of 2,000 lbs. The OB-SQ is strictly meant for back squats. Not designed for deadlifting, bench press, or any Olympic weightlifting or cross training movements. The OB-SQ Squat Bar is not meant to be dropped. 94” in length preventing weight plates from hitting the uprights while racking or unracking the bar.
