My rating is based on the speed of order processing and return of my order when I realized I wouldn't be able to use it. I'm sure the speed bag platform will perform superbly for anyone who buys/uses it.

Only 1 day after installed, the wheel to raise and lower the platform came off.

I started the purchase by emailing CS at Valor Fitness, VF. They were great to work with often responding multiple times per day. I was looking to buy just the CA-2 platform, no board, swivel, speed bag, or pump. VF didn't sell the CA-2 platform separately, and I ended up buying their CA-2 kit.

They shipped quickly via UPS and I had it in about a week. The box arrived in good shape and the parts were well packed. BTW the box was heavy weighing in at 70 lbs. I made a 3" fir lumber frame to mount to 2" x 6" studded walls covered with 1/2" Sheetrock. VF included great mounting hardware for wood and concrete construction. I added an 1-1/2” thick laminated board to the included 1” board. I had to re drill the board for my swivel mount and needed longer bolts to attach the boards to the frame. The included instruction were Okay, but could use a picture showing where the handle bearings mount--there is a good photo on their web site though. VF also included an orange sheet with a phone number for assembly questions that didn't work. I'm not sure if it was something at my end or if it was a bad number.

Overall a good deal, but be prepared to upgrade your swivel and bag. Valor didn't allow reviewers to post pictures on this site, but I also reviewed the purchase on Amazon and included several photos for the finished product.

Can you tell me the differences between this platform and the CA-53?

The CA-53 platform is thicker by an inch, and is a newer model compared to the CA-2. Otherwise, they are very comparable.
Does this come with the lag bolts to mount it to the wall?

Yes it does. It comes with 4 lag bolts which are used to mount the frames onto the wall.
