What is the max weight capacity?
The weight max for the CB-31 is 150lbs

do I have to purchase actual weights? or can it be used as is? thank you
It is recommended to be used with weights. Using the unit as is does not offer much resistance. It does work with either standard or Olympic style plates.

How is the range of motion? And how is the angle of the pad does it put a lot of emphasis on the biceps?
Our Seated Bicep-Tricep Curl Machine does allow for a full flexion for both bicep curls and triceps extensions. You can adjust the position using the Sundial to match your preference. The pad sits at a 30 degreee angle, which we've found provides a comfortable placement for either curls or extensions. I've also included our product video on this product. Is the handle sturdy enough for single-arm use?
Yes, the CB-31 can be used for single arm use. The handle is one piece and does not move the arms simultaneously.
