  • Can the Steel Footplate attachment be sold separately? What are the two screws measurement (attach to the rack)?

    Yes, the steel footplate can be sold seperately through our Spare Parts department. The screws that hold the foot plate on are M10 x 75 bolt and M10 x 20 bolt.

  • What are the differences between the BD-41L and BD-33L?

    Thanks for your question! The main difference is the rack they are built for - the BD-41L is for the BD-41, and the BD-33L is for the BD-33.

I got this lat pulldown extension for my BD-41. Overall the construction is solid and feels stable. The pulley action is pretty smooth - not as good as a commercial gym of course but it does fine for home use. I just have a couple of gripes, otherwise I'd give it 5 stars:
1. The carriage, i.e. the thing that moves up and down the center column, has plastic inserts at the top and bottom. They are supposed to snap in but are somewhat loose, so they come off easily, especially with higher weight. I'll probably use some double-sided tape to keep them snugly inserted into the carriage.
2. It's hard to use the foot pedals with anything larger than a 35lb plate. Even then, it gets obstructed by the edge of the plate. It works fine with 25s but then you have to load more

Overall, not deal breakers but could be a little better designed.

I’ve had the BD7 for 6 years (loved it). Started to get more serious about lifting so decided to upgrade to this. Assembly was great, everything fit perfect without having to force things together. Was tricky, but I was able to get it together myself. Been using it about a month now and love it! Seems sturdy enough, the crossovers would pull in some till I got everything on horse stall Mats from TSC. Now they’re solid. The only complaints I have is the rubber on the J cups are useless. After one workout they started to tear in half. Also the crossovers the end caps on the slide keep popping off ( I used loctite glue and that fixed that issue). I would definitely buy this product again.

Deliver was awesome. I was moving in two weeks but wanted to buy before they sold out and they held onto it for me and delayed shipping until i was moved into my new house. Overall its a great product. very sturdy and the crossover is smooth. If i had to nit pick the only negative was some of the uprights and upper supports that connect the front and back uprights together at the top had some scratches on it. Not huge but sad to have scratches on something you have yet to use.

I have the BD-CC2.5 attached to the BD-41 rack. I am very pleased with the set up. After having a gym membership for 15+ years w/ commercial equipment at my disposal, I find the Valor (Home gym) set up I have is more than sufficient. Although it isnt as heavy duty as commercial gym equipment, it seems to be more than capable & rigid enough to last for many years.

Ive been a personal trainer for just about 5 years now, Ive been to lots of gyms and have been seasoned with lots of different equipment. -The BD-41 Rack with cable cross Attachments was a game changer at my personal home gym. It gives the same amenities that a commercial gym would have without the expensive weight stacks. -The cons: in shipment, some of the metal on metal contact scratched the powder coating badly. The instructions would be a bit overwhelming if you arent used to working with your hands or building weight equipment. Luckily for me Ive assembled weight equipment before and had some experience. Overall, great product and I look forward to purchasing more from Valor Fitness
