Super cheap and surprisingly good quality despite the welding. Super sturdy, no shaking or rattling. Instruction manual is clear and straightforward. Only problem is that the manual tells you to put the adjustment plate and handles incorrectly. Make sure to put the handles where they’re slanting downward, otherwise it’ll be awkward because of how arched your wrists are. And then make sure the adjustment plate is placed where the #1 increment is facing away from the seat and the #15 increment is facing towards the seat so that you could get a better stretch and resistance when doing leg curls and leg extensions.

Great piece of equipment. You will immediately notice the disparity in strength for each leg.

Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • What type of bearings are designed

The Heavy Duty Isolated Leg Machine utilizes ball bearings on the joints where the selector wheel is located.

  • What holds it down when doing heavy leg curls? The CC-4 has nothing to counter the weight so I had to put it up against the wall and screw in a board to hold it down, but it still moves as I could not get it to fit tightly enough. This looks like it will have the same problem. This is the reason the comparable brands such as Titan and Sydee have a weight holder in the back of the machine allowing the user to load up weight plates in the back to hold it down.

We thank you for your feedback on this. As far as we know, the unit is able to be withstand up to its max weight load without tipping. The width of the base frames is intended to provide more support and stability than the CC-4.

  • What is the max user capacity?

The max user capacity for this unit is a combined weight total of 330lbs. Since each side functions independently, the weight limit per each side is 165lbs. We would not recommend to exceed that limit for safety reasons.

  • Are user height's range same for CC-8 as CC-4? Lowest to highest please. Thank you.

The user's height range is generally the same throughout both CC-4 and CC-8 machines. They should be compatible to the general American populace. It should work for among individuals who are 4'9" to individuals who are 6'2".

  • Is there a video available showing how to put it together?

Yes there is! Please visit the link below, which will direct you to our YouTube video regarding the CC-8 assembly. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us!
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_vZxypkxlo&list=PL1KtetZcGoD5ZODbCoN9EebWfYxyjQeRB&index=30

  • Are the side weight supports (where you load the weight) a true Olympic 2" diameter to properly fit 2" olympic plates?

Yes, the CC-8 comes with two attachable Olympic Adapter Sleeves measuring 2" in diameter, so it is intended to fit standard Olympic-sized plates. As mentioned, they can also be detached to fit any 1" plates (if necessary).

  • When working both legs on cc-8 together/simultaneously, can the leg rollers be connected, or do they continue to operate independently, relying on the user to just extend (or curl/flex) both legs at same time?

The CC-8 legs are constructed in hopes to target and isolate each leg to work independently, so it does not work together nor does it connect together. In that case, it would be up to the user to extend/curl at the same time. The CC-4, however, is constructed of one single leg roller which is meant for simultaneous usage of the legs, which it could be used independently per leg as well. Although each Leg Curl/Extension machine has its own perks, it is up to the user how to implement each one respectively.

  • How is this different from the CC-4? You can do isolation with the CC-4 if you only use one leg, correct? What advantages does the CC-8 offer over the CC-4?

The CC-8 differs from the CC-4 in ways of providing an isolated workout function per leg. It also offers a more durable construction and heavy-duty setup, as well as increased max weight load per side, in which you can adjust the weights to match the capability of each individual leg. That way you're able to train each individual leg without the use of one single shin pad (as the CC-4 offers). Although you can use the CC-4 in a similar fashion as the CC-8 by using only one leg; this is catered towards individuals who prefers to target either the hamstrings or quads in an isolated manner.

  • Is the leg curl done seated of standing?

The leg curl exercise on the CC-8 is done while seated. It would just take some minor adjustments to the adjustment wheel and other parts to access the leg curl exercise. All of which could be done in the seating position.
