Everything you wanting in a preacher curl bench

This piece arrived in good shape and was easy to assemble.
That said this piece is built for a taller person. I’m 5’ 7” and had a difficult time reaching the bar when it was on the rack. I built a 6 inch tall platform and that solved the problem. Very happy with this piece and it’s an Important part of my home gym.

This is a solid piece of equipment, built very well. I would rate it close to the commercial equipment I used in the gym. Finding the dual position pads was fantastic, had been searching for some time and to get it 3 days after ordering was more than I could have hoped for. When I need equipment I'll be coming back to Valor.

This is a terrific product. It arrived on time and the packaging was in good shape It took me about 90 minutes to put it all together and I would advise a couple of things about assembly: 1) Don't completely tighten all the bolts for the main structure until you have it fully assembled (without the pads installed); 2) Install the small pad first as the clearance for tightening the bolts is very tricky if you install the large pad first; 3) make sure to note that the small pad mounts are directional - there is a short side and a long side and the pads will interfere with each other depending upon which way you install the small pad mounts The rack itself is rock solid and seems very near to commercial-level quality. I am 6' 2" and have to bend over only slightly into the pads whether on the standard preacher side or the Scott preacher side. I don't find the sizing awkward at all but perhaps if you are much shorter you might find yourself up on your toes or needing a platform. The width is designed for an EZ Curl bar and I had no issues at all lifting the bar from the mounts whether using narrow or wide grips. It is a heavy piece of kit but still not difficult to move around as needed. Overall, a five-star effort from Valor
