What exercises can I do with this pulley system?

You can perform a wide variety of upper and lower body exercises, including lat pulldowns, tricep pushdowns, bicep curls, face pulls, seated rows, and more.

Is the pulley fixed or adjustable?

The cable unit itself is fixed to a solid base-point for controlled cable machine exercises. The pulley head is mounted on a pivot so you can freely move and work dynamic cable exercises without restriction.

What type of weight plates can I use?

This pulley system is compatible with Olympic weight plates that have 2" openings.

Can a pulley weight station be mounted to a wall or other surface?

It is possible to mount to other sturdy surfaces, but attachment comes with rack-mounting hardware only. For mounting to cement walls or wall studs, additional wall-mount hardware will be required. Never mount fitness equipment to drywall alone.

Does the plate swing during exercises?

Once loaded with weight, the pulley’s plate carriage remains stable and should not swing significantly during cable exercises.

What size hardware does it use?

The system seamlessly connects to steel racks or rigs with 1/2" attachment point holes using the included (2) M12 x 110 bolts. It is not recommended for different hole sizes unless you supply your own compatible hardware.

Love my new addition to my home gym - smooth pulley action and the arm is extremely well built.

I ended up wall mounting it for the time being and sharing my install for inspiration for others in the future. This install is with a standard piece of drywall.

Attached to a 2x10 board cut down to 3ft. Used new mounting hardware - two 1/2in bolts 3" long with washers on both sides. When putting in the top bolt I kept the bolt backed out and started screwing on the washer and nut. I cut small holes in the drywall to account for the bolt head.

Then attached the board with arm to the wall with 5 GRK RSS screws, 5/16" x 5-1/8" instead of lag bolts. 2 screws into the studs on each side and then one in the middle through the bottom arm hole. Depending on the rigidity I will likely add one more screw to each side, but RSS screws are structural and heavy duty, we use them on outdoor decks.

I haven't tried this for lat pulls yet, but using it for belt squats and calf raises along with the aerobic steps has made a very good belt squat with a very small footprint.
