For detailed warranty information please click here (WARRANTY INFORMATION) or email us at info@valorfitness.com

***Valor Fitness reserves the right to change the return policy at any time. The return policy is based on a case-by-case basis depending on the product and situation.***

The Valor Fitness Warranty covers all products for intended use only. Any misuse of or modifications made to Valor Fitness products will void your warranty. If you encounter a problem, give us a call at (727) 895-9525 or email us at info@ValorFitness.com, and we will gladly take care of you.

Non-Commercial Warranty information is as outlined below:

*Non-Commercial use would include, but not limited to, home or garage gym use, and any location that does NOT accept membership fees for use of services and equipment.

    • Bars: 3-year warranty under use with specified weight load guidelines as outlined in the product listing and under proper use- see notes below. *Note: Under normal use (bench press, deadlifts, squats, etc.) the Olympic bars will last years. Recently, with the growth in the Cross Training industry, workouts involve dropping the bars repetitively. Bars with a bolted end (as opposed to a bearing) are not meant to be dropped, as the bolt will eventually un-thread.
    • Bumper Plates: 2-year warranty under normal use. *Note: 10 and 15 lb bumper plates are NOT designed or intended to be dropped on the bar without any additional weight plates. Product testing and development has shown that by dropping an Olympic Bar while using only 10 or 15 lb plates can result in damage and compromise the integrity of the plate. Using at least a 25 lb plate in conjunction with the 10 or 15 lb plates will prevent this damage. Furthermore, Valor Fitness warranty does not cover damage to the 10 or 15 lb plates caused by this improper use nor damage to plates caused by resting the bar on the floor using only 10 or 15 lb plates, which can result in similar damage.
    • Olympic Plates: 3-year warranty under normal, intended use. Warranty does not cover damage from substituting Olympic plates as bumper plates, nor does warranty cover damage caused by dropping or slamming plates.
    • Racks/RIGS: 3-year frame, 1-year hardware.
    • Chin Up Bars: 5-year warranty under normal use. Warranty does not cover damage caused by exposure to the elements (rust, etc.).
    • Fitness Machines: 3-year frame, 2-year pad, 2-year cable, 1-year pulley, 1-year popper pin, 1-year hardware.
    • Kettlebells: 3-year warranty under normal, intended use. Warranty does not cover damage caused by dropping or throwing.
    • Lifting Chains / Collars: 5-year warranty.
    • ALL OTHER ITEMS: 1-year warranty on all items not specified herein. Warranty covers defects in manufacturing. Warranty does not cover any misuse of products.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    Ask a Question
    • Do you have replacement cables?

Yes, you can purchase replacement cables through our spare parts department. Link to fill out below.
      https://valorfitness.com/pages/spare-parts

    • What is the length of the top bar section of the machine. Understood on the lower section. Trying to understand clearance area needed on the top section.

The top of the machine measures 30.5 inches long, but if you include the lat bar holder the total length of the top is 33.5 inches. Keep in mind that the bottom of the unit has 5 extra inches at the rear, so if you take that into consideration from the back of the unit to the front of the top bar it is a total of 38.5 inches.

    • I’m torn between the CB-12 and the DB-62. I’m looking for a cable machine for lat pull downs, tricep push downs, and cable rows. So, 2 questions. Will the seat get in the way for tricep push downs? What is the advantage to the CB-12 over the DB-62? Seems like I’d get all I need from the DB-62 with a smaller foot print.

Thanks for your question! On the CB-12 if you feel the seat gets in the way when you perform tricep push downs, the seat can be removed just for those movements and then put back in the sleeve when you need. The advantage of the CB-12 would be that it has dedicated stations for pull downs and rows, while the BD-62 is adjustable and can be used for numerous exercises and not specializing in one or two. The CB-12 may feel slightly more natural than the BD-62 for these movements, but the BD-62 would allow you to save slightly more space and mounts to the wall.

    • What are the specifications for the cable? Is this 7x19 vinyl coated? What is the working load rating? What is the cable size (core) and the OD? Are the cable fittings secured with compression connectors or wire rope clips? Thanks.

Thanks for your question! The cable has a 4mm diameter with a rubber coating, so an outside diameter of 6mm. The CB-12 is rated for a maximum of 200 lb. Cable is secured with compression connectors.

    • Is the lat bar included with the unit?

Thanks for your question! Yes, this comes with the lat bar and an adjustable lower Utility T-Bar.

    • Where do i buy the weight plates for this machine? What size fits? I just want the weights, not a bar with the weights, up to say 110 or 120 pounds total of weights

We will have plates in stock around late September.

It holds standard 1” size plates but can also accommodate 2” Olympic size plates with the EX-10 Olympic Adapter Sleeve (sold separately).

    • I see this is available Before I order it I have a few questions It says 58 inches are need for depth but how much total room is need when 45 plates are added Next question are the EX 10 Olympic sleeves available and how much are they

Thanks for your questions! If you are using bumper plates with a standard 17.5 inch diameter, you will need at least 61.5 of depth.

The EX-10 Olympic Sleeve Adapters can be purchased here.

    • Does this have to be mounted to a wall or floor Is it safe with out doing either

Thank you for your interest in our CB-12! It does not need to be mounted to the wall or floor.

    • What's the ratio for all three pulleys on this machine?

The CB-12 lat pull down, row, and ab-crunch cables all work on a 1:1 ratio.

    • Can I use wd40 or some other kind of grease on the cable? Mine is starting to stick in the wheels.

Yes, we recommend using any silicone based lubricant on the pulleys and cables. I know WD40 makes a silicone spray that works well.

    • Does this cable machine support any other brand of plates, such as Weider iron plates?

The CB-12 can support any standard 1" plates and Olympic 2" plates.

    • Are the pulleys on the cb12 ball bearing?

The pulley wheels in the CB-12 all have a ball bearing in the center for a smooth cable pull.

    • What are the measurements of the silver chain that is being attached in photos to perform seated rows and tricep pull down? Is there a link to purchase?

The chain is 15.5" long. If you are interested in purchasing you can contact info@valorfitness.com and we can help you get that part.

    • Does the CB 12 wobble when doing lat pull down or standing curls? Also, how difficult is it to assemble?

The CB-12 is fairly easy to build. The frame goes together quickly and the two cables thread on for the finish. The CB-12 is sturdy and doesn't wobble when doing lat pull downs or curls and can hold up to 200 lbs.
