Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
Can this machine be set to incline and decline? As well as flat?
The BF-47 can be set to Incline and flat.
-
Does it comes with weights or the weights purchased separate? If purchased separate, how much are 250 lbs in weights and are they in stock?
The BF-47 does not include any weights, as those are sold separately. As far as plates go, the price and availabilty depends on the specific plate, as we have several different styles with varying availability. To browse all our plates, you can do so here.
-
Would doing a shoulder press variation on this machine be an option? Thanks
Thanks for your question! The BF-47 was not designed for shoulder presses, just bench presses.
-
Hello ~ Why don’t you just sell this with the Olympic Sleeves and just ask a little more for this BF-47 Leverage Bench?
Thanks for your question! We like to give our customers the option of whether they want or need the EX-10 Olympic Sleeve Adapter.
We have an equal amount of customers who use and don't use the EX-10, so upping the price would be unfair to those who don't need it. -
Does each arm have a ball bearing design for smooth movement?
Yes, each arm has two ball bearings attached, which will allow for smooth movement.
-
Do y'all sell replacement parts because I need a new set of arms only for this piece.
Hi! We do sell replacement parts depending on availability. You can fill out our Spare Parts Request form here and provide the necessary information. Afterwards, one of our representatives will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
-
What is the resistance weight of each arm without any weights?
There is little to no resistance weight on each arm (just the weight of the arm frame itself).
-
How much weight can be put to bench, like a total of 250?
Our BF-47 is designed to hold up to a max weight load of 250lbs, which means each arm can hold up to 125lbs.
-
Hi, how long are the plate loading pegs? They look to be about 7”. If they are shorter I would need to purchase 2 EX- 10 Olympic plate sleeves.
The BF-47 plate loading pegs, on either side of the converging arms, has a measurement of about 7 3/8" of available space. Hope that helps!
-
Incline chest press position look like it would be prone to some sliding down the bench, has that be reported as an issue?
We have not received many complaints, if at all, regarding the incline position of the BF-47. The leather on the bench pad does have some tackiness to it, and the incline position does sit at a suitable angle which shouldn't allow for much slippage/sliding.

In the video , your demonstrator does a viking press . Does that target the delts differently than a standard straight up shoulder press ,and is it ok to turn around and press going back
When facing the T-bar and sitting on the bench and pressing forward (viking press) it will be similar to a military press but with less stress on the wrists. This version of the viking press targets all three deltoids with the primary focus on the anterior delt and triceps. We do not recommend turning around and facing away from the T bar sitting upright as it would put your arms finishing behind you and would be dangerous for your shoulder girdle. You may not have enough room on the bench to do this because of the frame.

I wonder. If you sit in the situps position. Then can you do Decline Presses?
If you are in the sit up positon it may put you in a awkward posistion to do decline presses. The farther you push your body towards the lever arms it may get better but not a good position for decline presses.
