Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
What is the weight capacity of the cables?
The weight capacity for the cables is 200 lbs
-

Replacement parts for our products are sold through our parts department. Simply email info@valorfitness.com with the parts you are looking for and we can get you a quote for purchase.

Is the rack able to support kipping/butterfly pullups?
Yes, the BD-7 can support kipping/butterfly pullups but I would recommend having weights on the back storage pegs for added support. You can also mount the rack to the ground for extra added support with a simple U shaped bracket. With no weight on the rack I would only do traditional straight pullups. With the movement from the kipping I would recommend having extra weight on the rack for support.
-
I already have the BD-7. Is it possible to purchase the steel foot plate as an attachment?
To learn more about how to purchase the additional foot plate for your BD-7, please give us a call at (727) 895-9525 and ask to speak with our spare parts department.
-
Hi there, I purchased the Valor Fitness BD-7 Power Rack W/ Lat Pull Station and was wondering what size bar would you recommend. Thanks
A 7-foot bar will work best with a power rack as it is long enough to fit with the frame of the power rack. The 2 bars that we currently have in stock that may best work would be our OB-86-V Needle Bearing Olympic Bar and our OB-86-1000 Olympic Bar.

Due to space constraints I am considering removing the entire cable assembly from the back of the unit. Is that ok as far as stability and would that affect maximum weight rating?
The rack is designed with the lat pull attached, so without it it will have a smaller footprint and less stable than it is designed. Our other power racks (specifically the BD-11, BD-33, and BD-41) do not have it so depending on your spacing constraints one of those may be a better option for you.
-
Are there dip bar attachments available for this rack?
Yes - the MB-A Dip Handles are meant for use with the 2x2 frame of the BD-7.
-
What is the warranty on this product? Also I am concerned about the cable based on reviews I read on other resellers site. Are replacement parts like cables available?
Please view our warranty guidelines in this link: https://valorfitness.com/pages/warranty-information
Replacement cables are available upon request if either defective or damaged. -
How long are the plate poles for the late pull down machine?
Thanks for your question! The storage pegs on the sides are 7.5", while the main pegs for lifting the weights are 8.25".
-
Howdy, this question has been asked already when someone asked if there's an upgraded pull up bar for the BD-7 to replace the straight bar. I think the question was misunderstood. What they were asking is can the straight pull up bar be replaced with a multi-grip bar so that we can do pull ups with different angles? Thanks.
Thanks for your question! At this time, it cannot.
-
Does the BD-7 come exactly like it is pictured? i don't know if i need to order the side metal bars and the long bar.
Thanks for your question! The BD-7 includes everything you see in the main photo.
-
Hi. Is there an upgraded pull up bar for the BD-7 or is the straight bar it comes with the only option?
Thanks for your question! At this time, we offer the BD-7BCC POWER RACK WITH LAT PULL & CABLE CROSSOVER ATTACHMENTS (click for product page) as well as the BD-CC2.0 CABLE CROSSOVER ATTACHMENT for the BD-7 & BD-33.
-
Hi Is the back lateral bar Included? Also I’d like to pay with two forms of payment. How do I do that?
Thanks for your question! Yes, it comes with a lat pull down bar (and a short straight attachment as well) for the pulley system
-
What is the size of the peg holes on this?
The storage pegs are 1”. Seeing as the storage pegs do not move, they are completely fine to hold any size plate with a mouth opening larger than 1".
We also sell an Adapter Sleeve that converts 1” standard plate posts to 2” Olympic posts which measures 9” long.
The Adapter Sleeve can be purchased here. -
How much does the unit with lat station weigh in total? How many boxes does it ship in. Thanks.
The Rack along with the Lat Pull Station weighs at a combined weight of about 180 lbs. It will be shipped in two boxes.
-
Does the Compact 2x2 Power Rack w/ Lat Pull Station (BD-7) come in black?
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the Compact 2x2 Power Rack does NOT come in black.
-
What fastners are used, screws or bolts
We utilize bolts to construct the Compact 2x2 Power Rack.
-
How tall is the rack?
The BD-7 Compact Power Rack has a total height of 85". Without the Lat pulldown attachment, the rack itself has a height of 83".
-
What is the diameter of the pull-up bar for the BD-7?
The BD-7's pull up bar measures to be 25mm in diameter.
-
What is the weight limit of an individual storage peg? Not sure if it is the same as the MB-J2.0.
The BD-7 storage pegs should have a similar weight limit capacity, if not a little less, as the MB-J2.0, which is 200 lbs. Because the BD-7 storage pegs fits into the frame, the integrity lies within the frame. Additionally, the BD-7 storage pegs has a shorter length than the MB-J2.0. The BD-7 storage pegs measures up to 8", whereas the MB-J2.0 has a length of 10", which may give the MB-J more stability over the BD-7 ones.
-
I have a bd-7 already and am interested in purchasing cable cross over. Can I do that and how many feet on either side of the bd-7 is required?
The BD-CC 2.0 will add approximetly 38" on both sides and 22" to the depth of the BD-7. With the BD-CC 2.0 attached to the BD-7 your front view would span 120" wide and 80" deep.
