More Info

A key component of this unit is the Lat Pull Down station included at the rear of the unit. With this feature of the BD-7, users can use the 38” lat pull bar at the top to perform lat pull down exercises as well as the 20” accessory pull down bar at the bottom to perform cable curls and cable rows. This feature will add more versatility to your workout regimen with a cable that travels 60”. The lap bar is included to secure the user in place (if they slide a bench in the frame) while performing lat pull down exercises.

The 4 adjustable bar catchers are there for you to rack and unrack your bar, making this unit a great station to perform squats and even bench presses. The solid steel chrome safety bars on each side are there in the event the lift cannot be completed. With 27 variable positions for bar support, ranging in height from 17.5” to 68”, users can easily adjust the bar catchers or safety bars to the perfect height for them. The vibrant numbering system helps you easily identify each position and adjust the bar catchers and safety bars where you need.

The BD-7 also has the added benefit of 4 storage pegs at the rear of the unit, so users can easily store weight plates and keep them from laying around the floor. Provided a clean and organized gym setting, each storage peg measures 8” in length with a 1” diameter to accommodate both 1” standard plates and 2” Olympic plates – for a more snug and secure fit for the 2” Olympic plates, users can add an EX-10 Olympic Adapter Sleeve that converts 1” standard storage pegs to 2” Olympic storage pegs (sold separately). The EX-10 can also be used for the carriage on the Lat Pull Down Station.

Warranty Info

The Valor Fitness Warranty covers all products for intended use only. Any misuse of or modifications made to Valor Fitness products will void your warranty. If you encounter a problem, give us a call at (727) 895-9525 or email us at info@ValorFitness.com, and we will gladly take care of you.

  • Bars: 3-year warranty under use with specified weight load guidelines as outlined in the product listing and under proper use- see notes below. *Note: Under normal use (bench press, deadlifts, squats, etc.) the Olympic bars will last years. Recently, with the growth in the Cross Training industry, workouts involve dropping the bars repetitively. Bars with a bolted end (as opposed to a bearing) are not meant to be dropped, as the bolt will eventually un-thread.
  • Bumper Plates 2-year warranty under normal use. *Note: 10 and 15 lb bumper plates are NOT designed or intended to be dropped on the bar without any additional weight plates. Product testing and development has shown that by dropping an Olympic Bar while using only 10 or 15 lb plates can result in damage and compromise the integrity of the plate. Using at least a 25 lb plate in conjunction with the 10 or 15 lb plates will prevent this damage. Furthermore, Valor Fitness warranty does not cover damage to the 10 or 15 lb plates caused by this improper use nor damage to plates caused by resting the bar on the floor using only 10 or 15 lb plates, which can result in similar damage.
  • Olympic Plates: 3-year warranty under normal, intended use. Warranty does not cover damage from substituting Olympic plates as bumper plates, nor does warranty cover damage caused by dropping or slamming plates.
  • Racks/RIGS: 3-year frame, 1-year hardware.
  • Chin Up Bars: 5-year warranty under normal use. Warranty does not cover damage caused by exposure to the elements (rust, etc.).
  • Fitness Machines: 3-year frame, 2-year pad, 2-year cable, 1-year pulley, 1-year popper pin, 1-year hardware.
  • Kettlebells: 3-year warranty under normal, intended use. Warranty does not cover damage caused by dropping or throwing.
  • Lifting Chains / Collars: 5-year warranty.
  • Misc. Items: 1-year warranty on all items not specified herein. Warranty covers defects in manufacturing. Warranty does not cover any misuse of products.

Valor Fitness warranty may require the item to be returned to Valor Fitness at the owner’s expense for inspection. Images of damage to products may be required to be emailed to us prior to issuing a return authorization. Warranty issued to the original purchaser only – nontransferable. Proof of purchase may be required for warranty claims. Valor Fitness retains the right to inspect the item(s) and determine the best method to make our customer whole, either by replacing the item(s) with an exact or similar item(s), or partial or full refund. All warranty claims must be made within the specified period as noted.

Warranty terms are specified above and begin from date of purchase to the original purchaser only, nontransferable. Any claim made during this warranty period does not extend the warranty. In other words, a new warranty period does not start over again once a product has been repaired or replaced. The original warranty period still stands and will expire as stated above.

Please call (727) 895-9525 to make a warranty claim. Customers may also email Valor Fitness at info@ValorFitness.com. This warranty is intended to supersede any previous warranty either written or implied by all third parties or Valor Athletics Inc.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Due to space constraints I am considering removing the entire cable assembly from the back of the unit. Is that ok as far as stability and would that affect maximum weight rating?

The rack is designed with the lat pull attached, so without it it will have a smaller footprint and less stable than it is designed. Our other power racks (specifically the BD-11, BD-33, and BD-41) do not have it so depending on your spacing constraints one of those may be a better option for you.

  • Are there dip bar attachments available for this rack?

Yes - the MB-A Dip Handles are meant for use with the 2x2 frame of the BD-7.

  • What is the warranty on this product? Also I am concerned about the cable based on reviews I read on other resellers site. Are replacement parts like cables available?

Please view our warranty guidelines in this link: https://valorfitness.com/pages/warranty-information
Replacement cables are available upon request if either defective or damaged.

  • How long are the plate poles for the late pull down machine?

Thanks for your question! The storage pegs on the sides are 7.5", while the main pegs for lifting the weights are 8.25".

  • Howdy, this question has been asked already when someone asked if there's an upgraded pull up bar for the BD-7 to replace the straight bar. I think the question was misunderstood. What they were asking is can the straight pull up bar be replaced with a multi-grip bar so that we can do pull ups with different angles? Thanks.

Thanks for your question! At this time, it cannot.

  • Does the BD-7 come exactly like it is pictured? i don't know if i need to order the side metal bars and the long bar.

Thanks for your question! The BD-7 includes everything you see in the main photo.

  • Hi. Is there an upgraded pull up bar for the BD-7 or is the straight bar it comes with the only option?

Thanks for your question! At this time, we offer the BD-7BCC POWER RACK WITH LAT PULL & CABLE CROSSOVER ATTACHMENTS (click for product page) as well as the BD-CC2.0 CABLE CROSSOVER ATTACHMENT for the BD-7 & BD-33.

  • Hi Is the back lateral bar Included? Also I’d like to pay with two forms of payment. How do I do that?

Thanks for your question! Yes, it comes with a lat pull down bar (and a short straight attachment as well) for the pulley system

  • What is the size of the peg holes on this?

The storage pegs are 1”. Seeing as the storage pegs do not move, they are completely fine to hold any size plate with a mouth opening larger than 1".

We also sell an Adapter Sleeve that converts 1” standard plate posts to 2” Olympic posts which measures 9” long.

The Adapter Sleeve can be purchased here.
