Case-hardened rods and high-quality bearings ensure smooth operation at any weight, and the machine's 3-degree reverse pitch adds to its ergonomic design.
- VERSATILE WORKOUT OPTIONS: From bench press and smith machine squats to rows, upright rows, shrugs, and calf raises, smith machines support a wide range of exercises. Achieve a full-body workout with just this one machine.
- OPTIMAL GRIP: The steel, no center knurled bar is designed for a secure grip, enhancing your lifting experience.
- STORAGE PEGS: 4- bumper plate storage pegs on the frame can hold both 1" or 2" weight plates, assisting in organization and accessibility. Two 2" adapters are included for easy 2” plate size transition.
- WEIGHT CAPACITY: Our Smith Machine can support a maximum weight load of 500 lbs. The smith machine bar weight is 36 lbs.
- ADDITIONAL FEATURES: While cables are not included, the Valor Fitness Counterbalance can be purchased separately to offset the weight of the bar, making your workouts more efficient and tailored to your strength level.

Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
Machine dimensions?
The BE-11 itself is 54 long x 53" deep x 80" high and with the bar the foot print is 85 long.
-
Is assembly required? Or does that come with the purchase?
Yes, assembly is required for the BE-11. This item comes in 5 boxes. We have an assembly video to help with the process and can answers any questions to help.
-
Does this go low enough for hip thrusts?
At the lowest setting with the spring and safety catch in place you have 20" of of space between the floor and the bar. The bar can go lower if the safety catch is not used.
-
All the reviews of this machine say the weight capacity is 1000 lbs, which is why it is usually recommended over its nearest competitor. But your website says capacity is only 500 lbs. What gives?
Sorry for any confustion, the BE-11 smith machine does have a weight max of 500 lbs.

Love my smith machine. Two questions on pull/chin ups 1 Can i do them using the main bar. The one you use to do bench press. 2 can i hang suspension straps from the top black rectangular cross brace. Will it hold up. I weigh 230lbs.
1. We recommend doing an assisted pull/chin up with feet on the ground instead of full body weight.
2. You can hang suspension straps on the top cross beam making sure to have weights on the back storage pegs to weigh down for more stability. -
Does this product have the bar and cables attached for the guided motion or is that a secondary purchase with the " BE-11 Counterbalance"?
The bar is included with the purchase of the BE-11 Smith Machine, but the BE-11CB Counter Balance includes the cables in a separate purchase. The Smith Machine alone does not include the cables (which are not required for the machine to work properly), so those need to be purchased separately.
-
Can the olympic plate adapters be remove so that standard plates can bee used?
Thanks for your question! The Olympic plate pegs are built into the machine and cannot be removed.
-
Is the Smith bar weight compensated so that it does not weigh anything without the weight plates?
The bar is not compensated, so will add onto the total weight. However, if you purchase this along with the Counterbalance set, and assemble it accordingly, it will offset the weight of the bar.
-
How much does the machine weigh?
The Smith Machine weighs roughly around 250lbs.
-
What lubricant is recommended for guide rod maintenance?
We recommend any silicone lubricant. We primarily use 3-in-One oil for most maintenance care on our products.
-
What is the lowest height of the bar when the safeties and springs are not installed? Also what is the maximum height at the top? Thanks!
At the lowest, without the safeties and springs, the height of the bar measures to be 13-3/8" off the floor. The maximum height of the bar measures to be 67-1/2" from the floor. Hope that helps!
-
Hey! What is the circumference of the bar?
The bar on our Smith Machine has total diameter of 33mm.
-
How much weight can the smith machine hold the BE-11
Thank you for your inquiry! Our BE-11, Smith Machine, has a maximum weight load of 500 lbs.
-
Can this be placed on a floor that is supported by joists? I would like to put this in my office/exercise room. Thank you.
The BE-11 could be supported by joist-supported floors. A general rule of thumb for raised flooring is that each sq. foot could withstand a mimum of 40lbs of live load. The BE-11 could rest in a 6' x 6' floor space with ease, which would mean that there is 36 sq. feet of space, which could allow for an estimated weight capacity of 1,440lbs. The BE-11, when fully assembled, rests at around 250lbs.
