My wife is looking for a smith machine and she is curious if this one can go low enough to perform movements like hip thrusts, bent over rows, and RDLs. For reference she is 5’6”.
The pegs that hold the bar on the smith machine are 5" apart. If the bar is hooked at the lowest peg it sits at 6.5" from the ground.

What's the difference between the two BE-11 and this?
The BE-11 is the smith machine and the BE-11BCB is the counterbalance weight and cables for the BE-11. The counterbalance makes the bar on the smith machine weightless. You don't need the counterbalance for the BE-11 to be functional. You can start with the BE-11 and add the counterbalance in later if needed.
